The event began with an activity report presented by the Head of BAPETEN’s Badiklat, Ahmad Ciptadi Suryavin. This was followed by remarks from the Director of the Directorate of Licensing of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DPIBN), Wiryono, who also officially opened the training. In his remarks, Wiryono stated, "This evaluator training serves as a model for the Evaluator Team Development Strategy, aimed at fostering shared commitment (taking ownership) and strengthening capacity to accelerate licensing services for the construction and operation of nuclear power plants (PLTN)."

The training incorporates three learning methods: conceptual briefing, self-study, and practical evaluation exercises. It is designed to provide up-to-date knowledge, skills, and insights regarding the licensing evaluation process for non-reactor nuclear installations.

Upon completing this training, participants are expected to be capable of evaluating licensing documents for non-reactor nuclear installations in accordance with current regulations, procedures, and work instructions. [BHKK/OR/Translator: GP]
