BAPETEN held a meeting with Tecnatom in the context of development and comparative study of supervision of nuclear installations including Nuclear Power Plants (PLTN) in Spain, on December 15, 2022. Tecnatom is a technical TSO engaged in inspection and testing services, technical support training, simulation services and plant operations.
Tecnatom has been established in 1957 and operates in 8 countries around the world such as Spain, the USA, Brazil, China, UAE, Mexico and France. Tecnatom is engaged in the nuclear, industrial, renewable industrial, fossil, oil and gas sectors.
The meeting was attended by Plt. Chairman of BAPETEN Sugeng Sumbarjo, Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin, Director of Inspection of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DIIBN) Lukman Hakim, Coordinator of the Nuclear Installation Inspection Function Group (KFI2N) Rizal Palapa, Coordinator of the Data and Information Function Group (KFDI) Esturini Fitriyanti, and their staff.
Also present were Tecnatom CEO General Director Francesco Javier Guerre, Technical Leader EPR and RP Rafael Caro, Director Francisco Jose Sanches and Area Market Manager Pierre Boulugne. In addition to supporting CSN, Tecnatom also provides competency improvement support in the form of training to all nuclear energy supervisory bodies.
At this event, there were several presentation sessions including by DIIBN Director Lukman Hakim on BAPETEN Oversight, Introduction of Tecnatom by Pierre Boulugne and two presentation titles by Rafael Caro on Support to RB and Emergency Tools and Center.
The event continued with a field visit to see the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Simulator made by Alstom along with how to operate and operating conditions. Then visited the CMT Tecnatom Monitoring Center to see the operating parameters at the installation. Next to the SOUL - Knowledge System Management facility to see the online learning system and continued to CAE - Mobile Generator Set.
With this meeting, it is expected to add new insights for BAPETEN in developing an information technology-based nuclear installation monitoring system. [DIIBN/Bowo/BHKK/Da/RA]
