This initiative also aligns with the mandate of Law No. 43 of 2009 on Archives, Government Regulation No. 28 of 2012 on the Implementation of Law No. 43 of 2009 on Archives, and Circular Letter of the Head of ANRI No. 4 of 2023 on the Safeguarding of Maritime Archives to Strengthen Indonesia's Identity and Identity as a Maritime Nation.

BAPETEN submitted 15 archive items, consisting of three textual archives, ten electronic archives, and two video (audiovisual) archives. The textual archives include a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement between BAPETEN and Bakamla RI (the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency) regarding the Supervision of Nuclear Energy Utilization in Indonesian Waters and Indonesian Jurisdictional Areas, and a Memorandum of Understanding between BAPETEN and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise regarding Cooperation in the Implementation of Material and/or Goods Traffic within the scope of nuclear energy within the Indonesian Customs area.

The electronic archives include a Report on the Implementation of Front Line Officer (FLO) Technical Guidance, an Annual Report on Nuclear Security Activities, and a Report on the Results of a Nuclear Security Technical Study. The video archives include a joint exercise on handling radioactive smuggling in Batam waters conducted by BAPETEN and BAKAMLA, as well as a simulation of radiation handling at the country's entry points conducted by the Batam Class I Marine and Fisheries Ministry, BAPETEN, the Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) of the Batam Regional Office of National Defense, and the Batam Customs and Excise Main Service Office.

The handover of the static archives and the Minutes of Handover of the Maritime Static Archives were conducted between the Head of the Protocol and Administration Section of BAPETEN, Kuspriyanto, and the Head of the Thematic Archives Acquisition Team of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (ANRI), Chesar Dwi Nugroho Basuki. They were accompanied by the Head of the Administration Sub-Division, Deputy for PKN, Rinasari, and the Head of the Administration Sub-Division, Trianto Setiawan, as well as the Archivist of the Protocol and Administration Section, Organization and General Affairs Bureau.

The Minutes of Handover of the Maritime Static Archives were previously signed by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN and the Acting Head of ANRI, in person.

ANRI highly appreciates the efforts and commitment of BAPETEN's leadership in saving and preserving maritime archives.
