Diagnostic guideline levels (TPD) are a tool to optimize the radiation dose given to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional examinations with X-rays. This has been stated in Government Regulation Number 45 of 2023 and in its derivative regulations, namely BAPETEN Regulation (Perba) Number 4 of 2020.
