The Inspection Team led by the Director of Licensing for Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Substances-BAPETEN Ishak acted as Chairman of the Inspector Team with members Syaifulloh, Maradi Abdillah and Sulistiyoningsih verified the modality of the Linac Varian Vital Beam aircraft at Sidoarjo Regional Hospital. As for the Prof. Dr. R.D. Kandou Hospital Manado for the Linac Varian Clinac CX aircraft modality as the Head of the Inspector Team was Iin Indartati as the Health Facility Licensing Function Group Coordinator with members Made Pramayuni, Yaya Umaya and Dyah Palupi.

The scope of the onsite inspection includes the suitability of the design of the built facilities and the adequacy of the radiation barrier thickness of the radiotherapy bunker, ensuring the performance of the main equipment and supporting equipment, conducting radiation exposure measurements and dosimetry testing and ensuring patient flow and the ability of personnel to operate the Linac aircraft according to standards.

From the results of the verification of the radiotherapy operating license, the Hospital is committed to completing the findings submitted by the BAPETEN team within a certain time limit. The smoothness of the verification activities is supported by the Hospital which follows and welcomes the course of activities until the end, any deficiencies are considered as input and technical advice on the fulfillment of radiation safety in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
