The BAPETEN Education and Training Division (Badiklat) held a training of license examiners for non-power reactors at the BAPETEN Office on Monday, June 3, 2024. There were 23 participants in this activity, which is scheduled to run until June 10, 2024.
The event began with an overview from Iza Farikha, the committee chairperson, who stated that the Learning Management System (LMS) was applied as a learning tool for this training. "Later, all participants will be able to see the learning materials and take the exams through the LMS," he stated.
In his remarks, Ahmad Ciptadi Syurvavin, Head of Badiklat BAPETEN, stated that the goal of this training was to enhance the fundamental skills of all license evaluators and establish regeneration. "So, I hope that in the next six days, you can learn from the instructors and continue the evaluation in the future," added the instructor.
In the meantime, Wiryono, the Director of Licensing of Nuclear Installation and Materials (DPIBN), expressed his hope that all attendees succeeded in finishing the training course. Additionally, he urged everyone to actively contribute to this action by making significant suggestions.
In this training, participants will receive materials from the instructors, including the policy on nuclear reactor licensing, especially non-power reactors, legislation related to non-power reactor licensing, nuclear reactor licensing document evaluation procedures, evaluation of non-power reactor safety analysis reports (LAK), non-power reactor document evaluation practices, presentation of non-power reactor evaluation results reports, and evaluation.
It is hoped that this activity can improve the competence of evaluators at BAPETEN as the front guard in the licensing process, especially in the field of nuclear material installations. [BHKK/Da/GP]
