This is the second event, time after previously implementing Technical Guidance a on using the JUKI application for representatives of regional hospitals in Java. This event was attended by 65 online participants and 20 offline participants. The aim is to introduce a justification mechanism in accordance with BAPETEN Regulation No. 5 of 2020 and procedures for submitting justifications to the Chairman of BAPETEN through the JUKI application system.

The event was opened by Rusmanto who represented the Head of the Center for Regulatory Assessment of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Sources (P2STPFRZR) – BAPETEN. He said this event is aimed to interested parties who have the potential for applying justification, by including modalities with new technologies that have not been included in the justified utilization group.

To help interested parties, BAPETEN has provided a JUKI application system that can be accessed through the https://justifikasi.bapeten.go.id page. The JUKI application is provided to assist the applicants with justification to prepare the required documents so it will accordance with regulatory requirements. In addition, it can also monitor the process or status of the application until it obtains a justification decision.

After the opening, the activity continued with a presentation on "Introduction to justification for the Use of Ionizing Radiation Sources" by Rusmanto who conveyed the scope of the application and procedures, requirements in the justification application to the review and evaluation process carried out by the BAPETEN’s justification team through JUKI application.

The event continued with a presentation introduction to the JUKI application delivered by Iswandarini with the topic "Manual Use of the JUKI Application". With this application, the process and justification review can take place properly, quickly, and transparently.

In her presentation, she explained JUKI application, starting from the process of creating an account by the applicant to the process of submitting a justification application. In addition, details of the documents needed should also submitted.

After the discussion and QnA session, the event was closed by Rusmanto.
