Technical Guidance for Teachers at Nuclear Energy Training Institutions is provided for Nuclear Energy Training Institutions with the scope of training for Industrial PPR and Radioactive Sources Safety Officers for the needs of Training Institutions in meeting standards for presenting training materials related to the Transport of Radioactive Sources, Handling of Radioactive Sources Waste and Safety of Radioactive Sources.

The LHU Evaluation Consignment Activity is a routine activity carried out by the Secretariat of Conformity Test Experts with the aim of providing opportunities for Expert Staff to be able to coordinate in completing Test Results Reports (LHU) with Conformity Test Institutions (LUK) so as to speed up the issuance of conformity test certificates.

In his speech when opening the event, Zulkarnain said that the target of this activity is uniformity of understanding at the Training Institute and achieving optimal evaluation and collaboration between internal and external in this activity can take place effectively.

DKKN Quality Assurance Function Group Coordinator Rini Suryanti in her presentation explained the Report on the Implementation of Technical Guidance and Consignment Activities which contains the background of the activity, invited participants, achievements, target setting, performance monitoring and the remainder of the LHU process, plans for issuing conformity test certificates independently by LUK, and consignment target.

Several materials were presented during technical guidance sessions for training institute teachers. Material on transporting radioactive sources was presented by Nanang Triagung Edi Hermawan, material on Handling Radioactive Waste was presented by Anet Hayani, and material on Safety of Radioactive Sources was presented by Wita Kustiana.

In this session, discussions also took place between training institutions as participants, technical guidance teachers and the appointment secretariat regarding the obstacles and barriers that are often encountered when training is carried out and what must be done to overcome these obstacles.

In the discussion and evaluation session of the Test Result Report, the conformity test experts jointly implemented strategies for completing the Test Result Report and discussed the obstacles in the evaluation process and problems in the unfinished Conformity Test Result Report.

In the evaluation session, the results of the Training Institute Teachers' Technical Guidance which must be followed up are presented, a summary of the results of the evaluation carried out by each Expert Staff, both Bapeten Experts and Experts from outside Bapeten. There were 179 successfully completed Test Result Evaluation Reports.

The activity was closed by Director of DKKN Zulkarnain, who gave high appreciation to the teachers from the Training Institute who participated enthusiastically, including the warm atmosphere of discussion when the presenters explained the material.

"Appreciation is also conveyed to the Expert Staff who have contributed their energy and thoughts in order to fulfill the LHU evaluation targets and hope that the quality of PPR graduates of training institutions can increase.
