Launching of Integrity Zone towards Corruption-Free Area at BAPETEN Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment (PKN) Work Unit
Kembali 22 Juli 2024 | Berita BAPETENOn July 22, 2024, at the BAPETEN Office, Jakarta, an activity was carried out to launch the development of an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM). In the launch, a declaration of the launching of the development of the Integrity Zone of the Deputy for Nuclear Safety Assessment (PKN) Work Unit was made, as well as the signing of an integrity pact and joint commitment between BAPETEN's leadership ranks together with all BAPETEN Deputy for Nuclear Safety Assessment Work Units.
This activity was opened by remarks from the Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment, Haendra Subekti, who said that this activity was a follow-up to the appeal of the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN regarding the appeal for the launch of the development of the Integrity Zone of BAPETEN Work Units and Work Units. "We hereby report that four work units in the Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment of BAPETEN, namely the Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (P2STPFRZR), the Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Nuclear Installations and Materials (P2STPIBN), the Directorate of Regulation of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DP2FRZR), and the Directorate of Regulation of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DP2IBN), are ready to carry out the Declaration and Commitment to Develop an Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK)," said Haendra.
The activity was continued with direction from the Acting Head of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo, who also conveyed his support for the declaration of ZI at the PKN Deputy Work Unit. "I would like to remind you that the launch of the integrity zone development is the initial step. So after the launch of this ZI, the next concrete step is to form a squad team or work team across work units and activities with indicators and measurable targets and carry out periodic evaluations. Targets and indicator targets will be part of the Employee Performance Targets (SKP) of the team members," concluded Sugeng.
Then, present as a resource person in this activity was the Head of Inspectorate II of Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), Yudianto, who gave a presentation on the Development of the Integrity Zone towards WBK at the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency together with the Head of Internal Auditors BAPETEN, Hery Budi Santoso, as the moderator. In his presentation, Yudianto shared information related to the ZI development process at BPOM, the challenges faced, and strategies for improving work units with WBK/WBBM predicates. Improvement of mindset, strengthening collaboration, and sustainable development are steps that need to be considered in the development of ZI and achieving the WBK/WBMM predicate. This presentation ended with a discussion and question-and-answer session between the resource person and participants. "When it has achieved the WBK predicate, it still needs to be maintained and developed continuously, considering the very dynamic public service because it involves various stakeholders," concluded Yudianto while concluding the results of the discussion with participants and moderators.
This activity was closed by the Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection, Zainal Arifin, who hopes that the massive development of integrity zones can have a wider impact on public services and have a positive influence on economic growth and increasing national competitiveness. [BHKK/GP]
