"Although extortion is with a small nominal value, if it continues, it will certainly be large, especially if it is cumulative nationally, the potential for extortion in the public service licensing sector," he explained.

Hery Budi Santoso, Head of Internal Auditors and Chair of the BAPETEN Saber Pungli UPP, said that activities at BAPETEN have the potential to intersect with illegal levies, including licensing, inspections, procurement of goods and services, and others, so that BAPETEN always forms the BAPETEN Saber Pungli UPP Team every year and reports activities to the Central Saber Pungli Task Force of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.
