The Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), through the Directorate of Regulation of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DP2FRZR), held a Coordination Meeting to Discuss Improvement of the Indonesian Standard Classification of Business Fields (KBLI) 2020 at the BAPETEN Office on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. This meeting was attended by the BPS - Statistics Indonesia, Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), and related work units in BAPETEN, namely the Directorate of Licensing of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DPFRZR), Directorate of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DIFRZR), Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (P2STPFRZR), Directorate of Regulation of Supervision of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DP2IBN), Directorate of Inspection of Nuclear Installations and Materials (DIIBN), Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Nuclear Installations and Materials (P2STPIBN), Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN), and Bureau of Legal Affairs, Cooperation and Public Communication (BHKK).
The activity was opened by Mukhlisin as Director of Regulation of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DP2FRZR). He stated in the speech that the purpose of this activity was to determine and meet the needs of other KBLIs that may arise during the course of the next five years, when entrepreneurs in the nuclear power industry will be able to engage in a variety of new ventures.
This activity was motivated by the proposal to improve the 2020 KBLI and the KBLI that overlaps between BAPETEN and the Ministry of Health. In his speech delivered by Dede Mulyadi from the Ministry of Health, he hoped that what was produced would make the licensing process simpler but still be able to fulfill all aspects.
Next, a presentation was delivered on the improvement of KBLI 2020 by the PIC of the KBLI Team, Hermawan Puji Yuwana, explaining the timeline for the improvement of KBLI 2020, the title of KBLI related to the proposed revision of Government Regulation No. 5 of 2021, and the title of KBLI related to the existing Government Regulation No. 5 of 2021 and the proposed improvement of KBLI 26601.
The coordination meeting activities went smoothly and reached conclusions that will be followed up for the improvement of KBLI 2020 at BAPETEN based on its scope, and it is hoped that every activity can be included in the right KBLI according to the provisions of the latest International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC).
