The event began with the direction from Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin. He said "the results of the Communication Forum of BAPETEN and BATAN to coordinate with licensing. This is related to the requirements of output calibration fulfillment permits. The Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN) BAPETEN has issued an appointment to PTKMR BATAN as the national responsible calibration laboratory for the problem of measuring in situ output in radiotherapy facilities. However, until now it has not been possible due to the Covid pandemic. Surely there needs to be a solution together".

Meeting continued with a presentation on the fulfillment of the requirements calibration of measuring instruments and calibration radiotherapy output by the Coordinator Health Facilities Licensing of the Bapeten Mukhlisin, this presentation delivered about the related number of radiotherapy facilities in Indonesia that must meet the permit requirements, namely calibration of radiotherapy output, which can only be done PTKMR BATAN calibration laboratory including the problem of evaluation of eye lens dose.

The event was attended from Bapeten and Batan, and closed with discussions related to the fulfillment of permit requirements to build trust in the community or Permit Holders. On that occasion, Coordinator of Radiation Metrology (PTKMR) BATAN Asep Setiawan said in April it is planned that PTKMR BATAN will start to open testing /calibration services on the spot (in situ) and assist training for laboratories that get the appointment of radiotherapy output calibration.
