The event was opened by the Head of the BAPETEN Education and Training Center (BDL), Ahmad Ciptadi, who said "BPTC is mandatory qualification training for BAPETEN employees, for civil servants and PPPK. Management training is a mandatory qualification for all Bapeten employees which is then continued into the field of technical competency. "Hopefully the training participants will be able to finish with good grades and will be encouraged to learn more about the broader nuclear field."

BPTC is a complete description of the concept of radiation safety in Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Substances and the concept of nuclear safety in Nuclear Installations. The topic of this BPTC training is safety concepts which include regulations, physics, waste handling and emergency management.

The first day of training continued with a presentation from Khoirul Huda with the title "Nuclear Safety Conventions and International Agreements" then continued with a presentation from Nur Syamsi Syam with the title "Non-Reactor Nuclear Installation Legislation"

It is hoped that this activity can increase the knowledge of BAPETEN employees and at the same time increase competence in nuclear supervision. [BHKK/OR/RP]
