The Public Information Openness 2023 Award is the result of monitoring and evaluation carried out by KIP, as a form of effort to advance public information openness throughout government, public bodies. The event was opened directly by the Chairman of the Central Information Commission (KIP) Donny Yoesgiantoro and attended by representatives of various agencies from all over Indonesia. In his speech, Donny said "The Central Information Commission continues to strive to improve the compliance of Public Bodies in implementing Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information (UU KIP). The Central Information Commission is always ready to accompany all public bodies so that more people can enter the Informative qualifications."

The reception of the BAPETEN award certificate was attended by Hery Budi Santoso as head of the BAPETEN Inspectorate representing the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID). BAPETEN was included for the first time in the Public Agency Towards Informative category in the KIP Monev. This award is an appreciation to all Public Bodies, including State Universities, BUMN, Provincial Governments, State Institutions and Non-Ministerial Government Institutions, Structural Institutions, Ministries, and Political Parties for their information disclosure.
