Kembali 04 September 2025 | Berita BAPETEN | 9 lihatThe Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), through the Directorate of Licensing of Nuclear Installation and Materials (DPIBN), underwent an ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit conducted by Intertek SAI Global on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the BAPETEN office, as part of efforts to maintain the quality of its management system.
Dipo Pramudito served as the lead auditor for the process, while Wiryono, the Director of DPIBN, acted as the auditee, supported by all DPIBN personnel.
DPIBN has held ISO 9001:2015 certification since 2020 and successfully underwent recertification on October 2, 2023 (Certificate No. QMS43945). This surveillance audit covered licensing activities for non-reactor nuclear installations (instalasi nuklir non-reaktor or INNR).
In the opening meeting, Wiryono stated that the surveillance audit aimed to verify conformity with the management system and procedures associated with the ISO 9001:2015 certification. The audit was expected to yield insights for enhancing the management system at DPIBN, particularly on the acceleration of licensing services in preparation for the nuclear power plant (PLTN or NPP) era. The results of the ISO 9001:2015 surveillance were anticipated to provide valuable input for improving the quality of DPIBN's services.
Dipo noted that DPIBN’s historical audit results have consistently been positive, with no significant findings. He further explained that the audit would cover the management system, applications, payments, submission of administrative requirements, application and administrative reviews, on-site verification (and necessary corrections), license issuance, infrastructure maintenance, procurement, and human resources.
In the closing meeting, Dipo reported that, overall, DPIBN’s management system implementation had proceeded smoothly and effectively. No non-conformities were found during the audit, leading to the conclusion that the ISO 9001:2015 certification standards have been successfully implemented. "Next year, ISO 9001:2015 recertification will be conducted," concluded Dipo.
The event concluded with remarks from Wiryono, who appreciated Intertek SAI Global for conducting the surveillance audit and noted that the results of the ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit provided valuable input for DPIBN. DPIBN is committed to addressing minor findings and will continue to maintain and improve the quality of its management system in accordance with established standards, while also accelerating licensing services in preparation for the nuclear power plant era. It is expected that DPIBN will successfully retain its ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2026. [DPIBN/Yepi Yosa/BHKK/CD/ Translator: GP]
