The event was attended by the BPK Audit Team, the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, the Acting Executive Secretary of BAPETEN, the BAPETEN Primary High Leadership, along with representatives of work units and the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) of BAPETEN.

The event commenced with an opening remark by the Head of Internal Auditors of BAPETEN, Achmad Bussamah. Representing BPK, Indria Syznia, as a member of the BPK Audit Team, delivered the purpose, objectives, and scope of the assignment for the Audit of BAPETEN Financial Statements. The objective of the audit is to provide an opinion on the fairness of BAPETEN's financial statements for Fiscal Year 2025 in terms of conformity, adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness of BAPETEN's financial reporting. “The BPK audit also encourages the strengthening of the role of APIP through cooperation and coordination to ensure good governance,” Indria explained.

In his remarks, the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin, stated that BAPETEN has a strategic role as the sole authority responsible for nuclear energy supervision in Indonesia; therefore BAPETEN budget must be managed transparently, both in its utilization and accountability. The event was then concluded with the handover of the Assignment Letter for the BPK Audit of BAPETEN Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2025 from BPK to the Acting Chair of BAPETEN. [INSP/BHKK/GP]
