In the framework of organizing the Nuclear Safety Seminar (SKN) and Nuclear Product Exhibition (PPN) 2024, BAPETEN and PLN Institute of Technology (ITPLN) signed a Joint Agreement on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The purpose of this activity is so that the realization of SKN and PPN 2024 can increase the potential and provide mutual benefits for both parties.
The signing began with remarks from ITPLN Vice Rector IV for Business and Cooperation Ahsin Sidqi who thanked BAPETEN for choosing to partner with ITPLN in organizing SKN and PPN 2024. "I think this is a good thing, hopefully, this cooperation agreement can continue as an effort to develop human resources in Indonesia," he added.
The next speech was from the Deputy Chairman for the Nuclear Safety Assessment of BAPETEN, Haendra Subekti, who explained that since 2017 the implementation of SKN and PPN has been in collaboration with universities in Indonesia. "This is to support our vision of socializing about Nuclear in academia," he said.
The signing of this Joint Agreement was carried out by the BAPETEN Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment Haendra Subekti and ITPLN Vice Rector IV for Business and Cooperation Ahsin Sidqi. The signing process was directly witnessed by Plt. Head of BAPETEN Sugeng Sumbarjo and ITPLN Rector Iwa Garniwa and related officials.
The event continued with a BAPETEN visit to ITPLN's power generation facilities including the Solar Power Plant Laboratory Facility and the Waste to Energy Management Laboratory. [BHKK/Da]
