BAPETEN held a welcoming ceremony for the 45 Civil Servants Candidate (CPNS), on Monday morning (01/02). The new CPNS is a recruitment in order to meet the needs of employees in all BAPETEN units and as a replacement for employees who have retired or filled vacant formations. They are millennials who are creative, innovative and ready to serve BAPETEN with all their abilities.
The event was attended by the Executive Secretary of BAPETEN Sugeng Sumbarjo, High Ranking Officials in BAPETEN, and the Head of the Education and Training Center. In his remarks, Sugeng congratulated the CPNS for the success of passing the entire selection series, and welcomed them to BAPETEN.
To the CPNS, Sugeng explained that the main task and function of BAPETEN is to oversee the use of nuclear power through drafting regulations, issuance of permits, inspections and nuclear preparedness.
Furthermore, it was explained that in the current era of government, the expectations and demands of the public on the figure of the bureaucracy are very large, "These demands include demands for professionalism, quality performance, the best strategic and actual solutions, demands for strengthening solid and synergistic work, demands for more innovative, creative and responsive to various circumstances, demands for excellent service to serve according to their competencies, demands to maintain public trust not to abuse their authority, and demands to clean up KKN," he said.
At the end of his speech, Sugeng advised CPNS to be ready to utilize information and communication technology optimally in assisting the implementation of supervision and management of institutional administration. “Finally, I congratulate you on joining BAPETEN family. May Allah SWT always protect and bless our every step," he said.
In this event, the Head of the General and Organizational Bureau Dedik Eko Sumargo, also gave a speech and briefing to the new CPNS BAPETEN.
“You are the new hope for BAPETEN, Indonesian hope, especially in supervising the use of nuclear power in Indonesia. It is hoped that you will become a golden generation that will be an example and role model,” he said.
"With the acceptance of you as CPNS, I advise you about 3 things, namely 1) increase gratitude to Allah SWT, 2) increase devotion and respect for parents, 3) Love your family with all your heart."
On this occasion, Dedik instructed CPNS to study and understand the regulations related to CPNS Discipline, regulations regarding family and request that CPNS make their resumes.
Dedik also hopes that CPNS can show dedication in their work, dare to say NO to something that is against the truth and conscience, and most importantly respect older people in BAPETEN even though she/he is a cleaning service, security guard, driver, or an ME technician.
Regarding the unfinished and even more worrying covid-19 pandemic, Dedik advised, "Currently we are working in an atmosphere of the covid-19 pandemic, I invite us to always comply with health protocols, both at the office, on the go and at home. Once again, obey health protocols, put safety first and love your family.”
