Surveillance to LPPIT, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga University Surabaya as a Training Institute
Kembali 30 Juni 2022 | Berita BAPETENBAPETEN through the Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN) carried out surveillance to LPPIT, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga University Surabaya as a Training Institution within the scope of Medical Radiation Protection Officer Level 2, which was carried out from 28 to 30 June 2022.
Surveillance is a form of supervision that is carried out at least once during the appointment period. Meanwhile, the scope of surveillance includes field visitation to review several important aspects such as training facilities and infrastructure, quality management system documents, the implementation of the Training Institution Management System through recording inspection, both quality records and technical records and assessments of training institution performance as evidenced in the training implementation report that has been carried out.
Surveillance of the Training Institute aims to ensure the quality of the implementation of training carried out by the Training Institute in producing Radiation Protection Officers who have competence in accordance with the BAPETEN’s Regulation No. 16 of 2014.
At the end of the surveillance implementation at the exit meeting, the Surveillance team conveyed several findings and points that must be improved by LPPIT, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga University for the implementation of the next training. It is hoped that LPPIT, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga University can improve the management of the Training Institute within a predetermined period of time, and maintain things that are already good.
The Chairman of LPPIT, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga University, Yanuar Nugroho, stated that he asking for guidance from BAPETEN regarding the obstacles that are currently being faced regarding the permit application process through the RBA OSS.
Meanwhile, the Lead of the BAPETEN Surveillance Team, Deddy Rusdiana said that maintaining excellent quality services is an obligation for every institution, for this reason, BAPETEN is here to ensure good service in the energy institution.
