Refresher Training for Level 2 Medical Radiation Protection Officers (PPR) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta

The Directorate of Licensing of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DPFRZR) of The Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) held a Level 2 Medical Radiation Protection Officer (PPR) Refresher, which was held in Yogyakarta, on 8 to 10 October 2024.
This PPR Refresher is one of the services provided in the context of extending the Work Permit (SIB) for Radiation Protection Officers (PPR). In addition to being a means of extending the PPR work permit, the PPR Refresher aims to maintain the competence of PPR, BAPETEN's coordination with PPR as the internal radiation protection supervisor, and the socialization of the latest policies and provisions.
The PPR refresher training was opened by the Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection, Zainal Arifin. Then continued with the presentation of material in accordance with the attachment to the BAPETEN's Chairman Regulation No. 16 of 2014. The refresher material this time was delivered by several speakers, namely Zainal Arifin, Ida Bagus Manuaba, Iin Indartati, Syaifulloh, and Puji Hastuti.
This PPR refresher training was attended by 52 participants spread across Indonesia. BAPETEN issued an extension of the validity period of the PPR work permit and a PPR refresher certificate to participants based on attendance in all sessions, the results of the initial and final test evaluations, and activeness in each session and group assignments.
