The training began with an activity report by the Head of The Education and Training Center (BDL) Lukman Hakim. He said, "This training was attended by 30 participants. Participants are also directed to conduct self-learning through the Learning Management System (LSM).

The purpose of this training is to provide participants with an understanding of the elements from radioactive source security and the ability to compile radioactive source security documents as security procedures in the work environment of permit holders.

Furthermore, the Director of Licensing for Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Sources Ishak gave a speech and officially opened the training. Ishak said that the utilization of radioactive sources in addition to have qualified personnel in carrying out their utilization activities, including safety aspects, is also required for the presence of radioactive source security officers, especially for activities in category I / category II in the category of radioactive sources used in such utilization.

"This security officer is only intended for utilization activities that use radioactive sources, not those that use high radiation plants or x-rays.I hope the participants can get information, knowledge, and expertise related to how to secure radioactive sources during the activities of use or transportation," added.
