Radioactive Source Security Officer Competency Certification Examination (PKSR)

BAPETEN’s Directorate of Licensing of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DPFRZR), held a Radioactive Source Security Officer Competency Certification Examination (PKSR). The process of issuing competency certificates is carried out systematically and objectively through competency tests. In responding to important issues in the world regarding the safety of radioactive sources, PKSR must be owned by all radioactive sources utilization facilities.
BAPETEN organizes the PKSR Competency Certification Exam as one of the licensing services. The procedures for carrying out this test are also based on the Circular Letter of the Chairman of BAPETEN No. 1944/K/X/2021 on Competency Certification Examination for Radioactive Source Security Officers.
The activity was led by Ida Bagus Manuaba as the Coordinator of the Radiation Facility Officer Licensing Function Group, the PKSR certification exam was held on 4 - 5 August 2022 specifically for PT. Pertamina, located in Building 93, Puspiptek Serpong Area. This certification exam uses two methods, namely a written exam and a practical/oral exam. The final result of this certification exam is the issuance of a PKSR Competency Certificate. The Competency Certificate can be issued if the applicant is declared to have passed the certification exam at BAPETEN. [DPFRZR/Ardiyani Eka/BHKK/OR]
