The event, which was conducted online and offline, was initiated by Haendra Subekti as Director DP2IBN. Haendra said that public consultation is needed as part of the drafting process and is intended to obtain input from relevant stakeholders.

"Cooling systems are a very important element in the safe and secure operation of reactors. It is hoped that this public consultation can get the same understanding, both in sources and legal drafting," Haendra continued.

The event continued with a presentation related to the Preparation of The Bapeten’s Regulation on The Safety of Heat Transfer Systems and Related Systems in Reactors delivered by Catur Febriyanto Sutopo as PIC and Coordinator of the Reactor Regulatory Function Group. In his presentation, it is explained about the background of the preparation, purpose and scope of Bapeten draft regulation.

On this occasion, also present Heryudo Kusumo and Veronica lndriati Sri Wardhani from the Center for Applied Nuclear Research and Technology - BRIN as a source who submitted input to the draft regulation.
