The event began with a report from Director of Licensing of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DPFRZR) Ishak, who said that this activity was a medium for BAPETEN to meet with stakeholders. "With this National Coordination Meeting, we can exchange information and improve coordination between stakeholders," he added.

Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin, in his opening remarks, said that the use of nuclear energy in Indonesia is increasingly widespread, for this reason a joint commitment is needed to maintain the safety of the use of nuclear energy. Furthermore, Zainal Arifin also gave a presentation regarding the Nuclear Energy Sector Supervision Policy.

In this National Coordination Meeting, 2 presentation sessions were held, where the first session was moderated by Ishak. The first presentation presented was regarding the National Occupational Safety and Health Policy by Adi Wijaya from the Directorate General of Labor Inspection Development and Occupational Safety & Health, then the second was Supervision and Imposing Sanctions for Business Owners by Arief Margatama from the Regional Directorate II of the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and finally, Safety Standards in Transporting B3 (Radioactive Sources) by Renan Hafsar from the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT).

In the second session, Rofiq Syaifudin presented the Packaging Certification and Radiography Camera Leak Test from the BRIN-Radiation Safety Technology and Metrology Laboratory, Implementation of PP No. 45 of 2023 Regarding the Use of Non-Destructive Testing by Plh. Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment BAPETEN Dahlia Cakrawati Sinaga, the Nondestructive Test Safety Culture by the Head of Centre for Regulatory Assessment of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (P2STPFRZR) Taruniyati Handayani. The entire second session was moderated directly by Director of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DIFRZR) Asep Saefulloh.

After a QnA session and a resume of the National Coordination Meeting results delivered by Ishak, the event was officially closed by Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection BAPETEN Zainal Arifin. It is hoped that this National Coordination Meeting can strengthen the commitment of all stakeholders in supporting the achievement of radiation safety in the use of ionizing radiation sources for non-destructive testing activities.
