Measurement & Validation Standard Understanding Workshop for Study Laboratories

Bapeten through the Center of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Sources Regulatory Assessment (P2STPFRZR) in collaboration with the Indonesian Standardization Society (Mastan) held a Workshop on Understanding Measurement &Validation Standards for Laboratory Studies.This workshop aims to recognize and learn the understanding of measurement standards, testing, data processing, validation, and control of measuring instruments in accordance with the implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The workshop was held for two days, on 23 – 24 November 2020.The first day was filled with several materials, namely standard structure, process approach concept, inter-standard relationship, scope and definitions according to standards, management system requirements, general requirements and structural requirements. And the second day filled with resource and process requirements materials. Before the training, it starts with a pre-test and then ends with a post-test.
This workshop was attended by 23 participants from P2STPFRZR and P2STPIBN. It is expected that participants can understand the standard of measurement, proof of validity of measurement results, traceability of metrology, and control of radiation measuring equipment based on the requirements of SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017.[P2STPFRZR/Hermansyah/BHKK/IP/RA/OR]
