The inspection, which was chaired directly by Acting Chairman of BAPETEN Sugeng Sumbarjo, was accompanied by the Director of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials BAPETEN Asep Saefulloh Hermawan, Coordinator of the Research and Industrial Facilities Inspection Function Group Sumedi, and several BAPETEN radiation supervisors.

The entry meeting for the inspection activity began with remarks from Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo. BAPETEN Head Sugeng Sumbarjo, in his speech, said, "The purpose of the BAPETEN Inspection Team's presence is to find out the real conditions in the field. BAPETEN Leaders do not only look at reports on paper. BAPETEN's duties cover 3 things, namely making regulations (regulators), issuing permits, and conducting inspections."

"BAPETEN takes a risk-based approach in its supervision; for high-risk facilities such as radiotherapy, stricter supervision is applied than supervision in facilities with lower risks," he said.

The speech was continued by the Head of the Air Force Hospital (RSAU), dr. M. Salamun Aplin Ismunanto. In his speech, he said, "Nuclear energy supervision carried out by BAPETEN is very important, and the results of supervision and all BAPETEN suggestions will be carried out immediately for the safety of nuclear energy utilization."
