It is envisaged that by attending this training, business actors would have an understanding of the technicalities involved in completing safety verification reports, which are required of them by Balis INFARA in both industrial and health facilities.

The LVKF workshop was opened by Roy Candra Primarsa, representing the Director of DIFRZR. The first day of the workshop contained technical material for filling out LVKF by Dwi Cahyadi, while the second day was filled with follow-up material to BAPETEN inspection results presented by Bambang Riyono.

The information was submitted on the first day in accordance with Article 64, paragraphs 3 and 4, of PP 45 of 2023, which mandates that all radiation facilities report the safety conditions of their facilities to BAPETEN via LVKF in Balis INFARA once a year. In the meantime, the facility's procedure for following up on inspection results is described in the follow-up material.

Following the introduction of the material, all of the DIFRZR Inspection Staff led a question and answer session in a breakout area, answering any facility queries on LVKF issues, how to follow up on inspection findings, and other subjects.

The LVKF Workshop is scheduled to be implemented by multiple groups, and it is envisaged that business players in the ionizing radiation industry will comprehend the provisions for LVKF reporting and the closure of BAPETEN inspection findings. (BHKK/Bams/GP)
