Field Verification of the PT Intergy Indonesia Nuclear Energy Training Institute

BAPETEN's Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN) carried out field verification of training institutions for Radioactive Source Security Officers (PKSR) in the development activities of the Nuclear Energy Training Institute for PT Intergy Indonesia located in Bogor, West Java, on October 10, 2023.

This activity is a follow-up to the application for appointment of a Nuclear Energy Training Institute within the PKSR scope, which was submitted by PT. Intergy Indonesia and was declared to have met the requirements for field verification. In accordance with the mandate of BAPETEN Regulation No. 1 of 2022, assessments of nuclear energy business actors are carried out through document evaluation and field verification activities to ensure permit requirements are met.

The BAPETEN team that visited PT Intergy Indonesia is lead by BAPETEN Quality Assurance Function Group Coordinator Rini Suryanti, who is accompanied by BAPETEN Radiation Supervisor Joni S. Kadir, Deddy Rusdiana, and Eko Sapto Aji. During the visit, the BAPETEN team was received by the management of PT. Intergy Indonesia, which consists of the director, person in charge of training, and the instructors of PT Intergy Indonesia.

The event began with an entry meeting. Director of PT. Intergy Indonesia, M. Maulidin Nugraha, who joined via Zoom meeting, expressed positive aspirations and hopes for the arrival of the team from DKKN-BAPETEN regarding the Nuclear Energy Training Institute verification activities.

The leader of the Verification Team conveyed the objects of verification during the entry meeting, including the legality of the institution, management system documents, human resources, curriculum, training facilities, and infrastructure.

The event continued with document verification, especially related to the training module. Verification was carried out at the facilities that will be used by PT. Intergy Indonesia, including classroom facilities, storage areas for radioactive sources for practice, inspection of other supporting facilities such as prayer facilities, parking lots, and libraries, as well as inspection of utilization permits related to equipment used for practice.

At the exit meeting, the BAPETEN team submitted the audit minutes, which contained the substance of the findings and had to be immediately followed up by PT. Intergy Indonesia. The event closed with the signing of the examination minutes by the Nuclear Energy Training Institute Verification Team and the representatives from PT Intergy Indonesia. [Esa/DKKN/BHKK/SP/V/Ra]
