The Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), through the Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN), conducted a field verification and surveillance of the nuclear training institution PT Intergy Indonesia. The company is located at Jl. Raya Serpong, Technology Business Incubation Center (TBIC) Area – Puspiptek BRIN, Building No. 10.1, Pengasinan, Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, West Java. This activity took place on August 11-12, 2025.

This activity served as a follow-up to a new application submitted by PT Intergy Indonesia for a nuclear training institution license covering the scope of Industrial Radiation Protection Officers (PPR). The application was deemed to meet the requirements for field verification, in accordance with the mandate of BAPETEN Chairman Regulation No. 1 of 2022, which stipulates that assessments of nuclear business operators must involve both document evaluation and field verification to ensure compliance with business licensing requirements. The activity also aimed to ensure the quality of training conducted by the institution, ensuring that the Radiation Protection Officers produced met the competency standards expected under BAPETEN Chairman Regulation No. 4 of 2024.

The BAPETEN verification team was led by Adi Dradjat N. (Lead of the Nuclear Training Institution Verification Team), accompanied by team members Deddy Rusdiana and Eko Sapto Aji. Meanwhile, the surveillance team was led by Suryo Adi (Lead of the Surveillance Team), accompanied by team members Joni Kadir and A.A.A. Trisna Citta.

The first day of verification began with an entry meeting attended by the leadership and management of PT Intergy Indonesia. During the entry meeting, the team leader outlined the activity's objectives: to verify the availability of facilities, infrastructure, human resources, and documentation, including management systems, curricula, syllabi, modules, and teaching materials, in accordance with the requirements for a nuclear training institution; and to ensure that training already conducted adhered to established quality standards and regulations.

Following the entry meeting, the team proceeded to verify the facilities designated for future training, in line with PT Intergy Indonesia’s application regarding the use of training facilities and radiation measuring instruments. The verification also covered supporting facilities such as places of worship, parking areas, and the library. Surveillance activities continued with an audit of the quality management system documentation and the implementation of the Training Institution Management System, which was verified through the examination of quality and technical records and an assessment of the institution's performance as evidenced by past training reports, as well as a reassessment of facilities and infrastructure.

On the second day, verification activities continued with a document review at PT Intergy Indonesia’s office. This focused on reconfirming legal status, including agreements regarding the use of facilities and infrastructure at relevant institutions, and examining documents related to the management system, organizational structure, human resources, curricula, syllabi, training modules, teaching materials, and records/evidence concerning training quality implementation.

At the conclusion of the activity, the BAPETEN team presented the Official Inspection Report, containing findings requiring immediate follow-up by PT Intergy Indonesia, during the exit meeting. The event concluded with the signing of the Official Inspection Report by the Nuclear Training Institution Verification and Surveillance Team and the Training Institution’s Person-in-Charge from PT Intergy Indonesia.
