Evaluation Results of the Integrated Government Internal Control System, the Inspectorate's Internal Auditorate's APIP Capabilities, the AAIPI External Peer Review, and the e-SPI KPK at the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency in 2024

The Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency of Indonesia (BAPETEN) has again achieved a mezzo-scoring achievement in the evaluation results for the Integrated Government Internal Control System (SPIP) Implementation, the Electronic Integrity Assessment Survey (e-SPI) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) Capability in 2024, and the AAIPI External Peer Review. The integrated SPIP and APIP capability evaluation results have undergone verification, validation, and assessment by the BPKP (Finance and Development Supervisory Agency), while the Integrity Assessment Survey Index (e-SPI) assessment was conducted through three sources: agency employees (internal), the public who have interacted with or accessed the agency's services (external), and experts.
In 2024, BAPETEN achieved the highest e-SPI score of 84.5 on the KPK's e-SPI, with a National Average Index of 71.51. It ranked fourth out of 42 ministries/institutions in the category of institutions with small budgets and staff numbers. This achievement represents a 0.24-point increase from the previous year's score of 84.26. Based on the 2024 e-SPI index results, the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency is currently in the TerJAGA category, the highest category in the KPK's e-SPI assessment.
BAPETEN also experienced an increase in scores in the Integrated SPIP Assessment and APIP Capability in 2024. Based on the results of the BPKP evaluation of these two aspects, BAPETEN's SPIP is at level "3" with a score of 3.399 (an increase of 0.002 points), and BAPETEN's APIP Capability is at the delivered level (level 3) with a score of 3.11 (an increase of 0.11 points), and this achievement in increasing the capability of the BAPETEN Inspectorate's APIP is an achievement for the BAPETEN Inspectorate, where the target for the Institution's APIP Capability in the 2019-2024 Strategic Plan and the 2024 Performance Agreement is 2.50, and the BAPETEN Inspectorate is one of the APIP Ministries/Institutions whose Capability level has reached level 3. Meanwhile, for the results of the Peer Review Assessment from the Indonesian Government Internal Auditors Association (AAIPI), represented by the APIP of the Ministry of BUMN, the BAPETEN Inspectorate has obtained a Good Category score with The BAPETEN Inspectorate achieved a score of 86% against the Standard, including a score of 95% for the Attribute Standard and a score of 77% for the Implementation Standard. Previously, the BAPETEN Inspectorate had received a score of "Sufficient."
Based on these achievements, BAPETEN aims to improve the quality of its governance, risk management, and internal control, as well as the capabilities of its Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus, while maintaining its integrity as a government institution in supporting the prevention and eradication of corruption.
