Entry Meeting for the 2026 Internal Archival Supervision and the 2025 Archival Awards Ceremony
Kembali 01 April 2026 | Berita BAPETEN | 21 lihatIn accordance with the mandate of Law No. 43 of 2009 on Archiving, ensuring the availability of authentic, intact, and reliable records, safeguarding state interests and the civil rights of citizens, and promoting a dynamic archival system require the proper implementation of archiving practices in line with archival principles, rules, and standards, as well as a reliable national archival system. In this regard, to assess the conformity between archival principles, rules, and standards and their implementation, BAPETEN is conducting the 2026 Internal Archival Supervision.
The 2026 Internal Archival Supervision activities commenced with an Entry Meeting held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, attended by 83 participants. The meeting was attended by Primary High Leadership Officials, Archival Persons-in-Charge (PICs) from each work unit, records managers within the units, archivists, the Protocol and Administration Division along with their staff, as well as interns from the Ministry of Manpower. The opening remarks were delivered by the Head of the Bureau of Organization and General Affairs (BOU), Indra Gunawan, who emphasized that archiving constitutes one of the most essential core functions within the organization. It is expected that in 2026, the results of archival supervision across BAPETEN work units will improve, and that BAPETEN will maintain its “Highly Satisfactory” rating in archival supervision conducted by the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI). Furthermore, it is hoped that both the supervision score and ranking within the Non Ministerial Government Institution (LPNK) category will continue to improve. He further added that archival management practices, such as records disposal and the transfer of static archives to ANRI, have been carried out effectively. It was also emphasized that the SRIKANDI application will be utilized internally, and that more work units are expected to contribute archives to the National Archival Information Network (JIKN) to enhance public access.
Furthermore, the Director of DPIBN, Wiryono, expressed his gratitude, stating that the award received represents a significant responsibility. Meanwhile, the Director of DP2FRZR, Nur Syamsi Syam, also conveyed his appreciation to the BOU, particularly the Protocol and Administration Division, for their support in implementing archival management that provides benefits to both the organization and the public. It was further emphasized that this activity serves as a positive example for license holders, thereby enhancing their trust in BAPETEN supervisory role.
The event continued with a discussion and Q&A session, followed by a group photo session. With the implementation of the 2026 Internal Archival Supervision within BAPETEN, it is expected that archival management will become more effective, high-quality, and professional, that archival supervision scores will improve, and that it will contribute to enhancing BAPETEN Bureaucratic Reform Index.
