Destruction of BAPETEN Financial Inactive Archives for the 2012-2013 Period
Kembali 11 Desember 2025 | Berita BAPETEN | 11 lihatIn accordance with the mandate of Law No. 43 of 2009 on Archival Affairs, on Thursday, December 11, 2025, BAPETEN carried out the destruction of financial archives from the 2012–2013 creation period, totaling 905 archival items, at the Auditorium on the 8th Floor of Building B, BAPETEN.
The event commenced with a report delivered by the Head of the Protocol and Administrative Affairs Division of BAPETEN, Kuspriyanto, who stated that the destruction of BAPETEN archives was conducted in accordance with BAPETEN Regulation No. 7 of 2022 on Archival Management and Regulation No. 11 of 2019 on the Records Retention Schedule within BAPETEN. He added that, as an archival record-creating institution, BAPETEN is obliged to carry out the destruction of archives that are no longer relevant and have exceeded their retention period.
Subsequently, the Acting Executive Secretary and concurrently Deputy for Nuclear Safety Assessment of BAPETEN, Haendra Subekti, emphasized the need to enhance awareness of the archival system within BAPETEN. He expressed his expectation that archival management at BAPETEN would be carried out consistently, particularly in determining which records are permanent and which must be destroyed.
The next agenda was the symbolic handover of archival boxes to be destroyed from the records creator, the Bureau of Planning, Information, and Finance (BPIK), to the Bureau of Organization and General Affairs (BOU). Following the handover, the Minutes of Handover were signed by the relevant work units.
At the end of the event, a symbolic destruction of archives was carried out by Haendra Subekti, Kuspriyanto, a representative of the Inspectorate, and a representative of Bureau of Legal Affairs, Cooperation and Public Communication. Subsequently, the archival destruction process will be carried out on an ongoing basis by the Protocol and Administrative Affairs Division. [BHKK/Anisa/Da]
