Consulting and Licensing Services at the Office of Investment and Integrated Services One Door East Kalimantan Province

BAPETEN opened consulting and licensing services at the Office of Investment and Integrated Services One Door (DPMPTSP) of East Kalimantan Province on 24-25 May 2021 and 27-28 May 2021. This activity is a follow-up to the results of coordination from working visits in March. Through licensing service activities, it is expected that permit applicants can consult directly with evaluators if there are obstacles in the process of applying for the licensing of ionizing radiation sources, and related to the application of permits for the military sector.

The implementation of service activities was carried out by inviting 84 permit applicant agencies, both hospitals and clinics located in East Kalimantan and surrounding areas. Participants who attend must apply health protocols and register online to regulate the number of participants, deliver the latest rapid antigen results or not exceed 3 days with negative results, wear masks, maintain distance, and bring hand sanitizers.

The participants were very enthusiastic about the consulting and licensing services. With this activity, the participants utilized their presence in order to consult directly with Bapeten health facility licensing evaluators related to the constraints of the licensing process for the utilization of nuclear energy in the health sector.
