The verification process was led by Adi Dradjat Noerwasana as Head of the Nuclear Training Institution Verification Team. The team also included Joni S. Kadir, Edhy Kunto Wibowo, and Eko Sapto Aji as members. This activity was carried out as a follow up to the new application submitted by PT Asa Tiga Ras to establish a Nuclear Training Institution within the scope of Medical Radiation Protection Officer (PPR) Level 2 training. The process was conducted in accordance with BAPETEN Chairman Regulation No. 1 of 2022, which mandates that assessments of nuclear business entities be carried out through document evaluation and on-site verification to ensure compliance with business licensing requirements.

The first day of the activity commenced with an entry meeting between the BAPETEN verification team and the company’s management. On this occasion, Adi explained that the purpose of the verification was to ensure the readiness of training facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, the use of ionizing radiation sources, and the availability of radiation measuring instruments. The team also reviewed supporting facilities such as parking areas, prayer rooms, and library facilities to ensure that the training implementation meets established safety and quality standards.

On the second day, the verification activity focused on examining the completeness and validity of the required documentation. The documents reviewed included the institution’s legal authorization, cooperation agreements for the use of facilities, organizational structure, human resource competencies, as well as the curriculum, syllabus, modules, and training materials for the scope of Medical Radiation Protection Officer (PPR) Level 2. This examination was conducted to ensure that all technical and administrative requirements have been fulfilled in accordance with applicable regulations.

Towards the end of the activity, both parties conducted an exit meeting. On this occasion, the BAPETEN team conveyed that the Inspection Report (Berita Acara Pemeriksaan/BAP) contained findings that still need to be addressed by PT Asa Tiga Ras. The activity concluded with the signing of the Inspection Report by the Nuclear Training Institution Verification Team and the Person in Charge of the prospective Nuclear Training Institution and prospective Conformity Assessment Body of PT Asa Tiga Ras.
