The signing of the Cooperation Agreement was also carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UNY, Ariswan. This cooperation was agreed to be implemented for five years.

Sumaryanto said that currently UNY is improving and consolidating on all fronts for its institutional status to become a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH). "To achieve this, it is necessary to carry out institutional and scientific transformation, financial independence, strengthening research culture, increasing cooperation programs, lecturer recognition, increasing research-based learning and PBM, increasing student involvement in research activities, and community service. These efforts certainly cannot be done without cooperating and synergizing with other parties”.

On this occasion, Sugeng mentioned that the main area of cooperation established with UNY is the implementation of the assessment. "This assessment is devoted to policy making related to nuclear energy supervision. This is what UNY will cooperate with. Some facilities that can be used by UNY as a learning place for improving human resources, BAPETEN can take advantage of this extraordinary network from UNY for socialization and improvement of our human resources at BAPETEN." He explained.
