The meeting is part of the drafting process for the Presidential Regulation on the National Policy and Strategy (Jakstranas) for the Management of Radioactive Waste and Spent Nuclear Fuel, which will later be established as a Presidential Regulation (Perpres).

The meeting was attended by representatives from BAPETEN, including the Director of DP2FRZR, Mukhlisin; the Activity Manager of the Health, Industry, and Research Regulation Function of DP2FRZR, Soegeng Rahadhy; the Principal Radiation Supervisor, Dahlia CakrawatiSinaga; and the Radiation Supervision Team of DP2FRZR. Meanwhile, from the Ministry of Health, there were the Director of Environmental Health, Dr. Then Suyanti, attended along with the Waste and Radiation Safety Working Team members, YulitaSuprihatin and Adhy Prasetyo Widodo.

The meeting began with an opening statement from Mukhlisin, who outlined the background and urgency of drafting the Presidential Regulation. He emphasized the importance of the Ministry of Health involvement, particularly in identifying work programs that will be included as part of the regulation in the draft Presidential Regulation.

Anet Hayani, as the person in charge of this activity, then delivered a presentation on the substance of the draft Presidential Regulation. The presentation outlined proposed work programs for the Ministry of Health, aligned with the policies on radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel management.
