The BAPETEN Working Meeting (Raker) is a communication forum for managing the performance and budget of the institution in the form of direction and information in terms of policies, programs, and activities related to the implementation of the institution's tasks and functions. In this working meeting, it is expected that participants can formulate a cascading performance for 2025-2029 that is aligned with the Medium-Term National Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029. The 2nd Raker for Fiscal Year 2024 aims to carry out control, monitoring, and evaluation of the implementation of activity and budget achievements up to the fourth quarter of 2024, as well as preparation for the implementation of activities and budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2029. The work meeting was held on December 5-6, 2024.
The event began with a report from the Chairperson of the Committee, namely the Head of Bureau of the Planning, Information, and Finance (BPIK) BAPETEN Achmad Bussamah, who reported, "The second work meeting this time has the theme 'Preparation of Nuclear Energy Supervision Programs and Activities 2025-2029 in the Framework of Welcoming Golden Indonesia 2045' and will be held for two days, aimed at reporting on monitoring and evaluating the progress of BAPETEN's performance and budget in 2024, as well as the preparation of BAPETEN's work program for 2025-2029."
"The BAPETEN Strategic Plan 2025-2029 is still in draft form, which will be ratified no later than June 2025 in the form of a BAPETEN Chairman Regulation; therefore, there is still time to provide input and review by all parties so that the BAPETEN Strategic Plan 2025-2029 is of high quality and in line with the direction of national development," he reported.
The event was officially opened by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Sugeng Sumbarjo, who, in his direction and opening remarks, conveyed, "The National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045, in accordance with Law 59 of 2024 RPJPN 2025-2029, BAPETEN supports National Priority Programs such as Energy Security through Nuclear Power Plants, Health with supervision of the quality of nuclear facility services in hospitals, the environment, namely with radioactive waste management, and Science and Technology with nuclear energy supervision policies."
Through this opportunity, the acting chairman of BAPETEN also conveyed several things, such as the draft RPJMN 2025-2029 having been issued by the government. Matters related to BAPETEN include the following:
a. Bill on Nuclear Energy (Revised Law No. 10 of 1997).
b. RPP on Waste Safety and Transportation.
c. BAPETEN is one of the ministries/institutions that contribute to priority activities in the construction of complete, quality hospitals in regencies/cities and the development of mobile health services in areas with difficult access.
d. Carrying out monitoring and management of radioactive waste.
e. Preparation for Nuclear Power Plant Supervision.
In addition, the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN also emphasized that employee and organizational performance measurements, such as the implementation of work systems, need to be evaluated, and the development of work systems in order to optimize resources and the development of performance systems needs to be carried out immediately in order to effectively achieve BAPETEN's vision and mission and the development of BAPETEN's Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) performance.
The Acting Chairman of BAPETEN reminded each work unit and employee to prepare individual and organizational performance reports through todolist and e-performance, prepare the 2024 annual activity report, and prepare the BPK financial audit for the 2024 reporting year.

On the first day of the Work Meeting attended by Senior High Officials, Head of Education and Training Division and Coordinators in BAPETEN, several presentations and discussions were presented, including a presentation on "Draft RPJMN 2025-2029 and Synchronization of BAPETEN's Program Activities in the Draft RPJMN 2025-2029" by the Deputy for Human Development, Society and Culture of Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (Bappenas), Amich Alhumami, a presentation on "Submission of BAPETEN's Performance and Budget Achievements up to Q3 and projections up to Q4 of 2024" by the Head of BPIK BAPETEN Achmad Bussamah, a presentation on "Programs and Activities Supporting the Nuclear Power Plant Development Plan" by the Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment BAPETEN Haendra Subekti, a presentation on "Programs and Activities Supporting the Radioactive Waste and Health Management Plan" by the Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection BAPETEN Zainal Arifin, presentation on “BAPETEN Bureaucratic Reform Plan” by BAPETEN Executive Secretary (Sestama) Sugeng Sumbarjo and presentation on “BAPETEN Strategic Plan 2025-2029” by BAPETEN Middle-Level Planner Hendra Sugiarto.
While on the 2nd day, several presentations and discussions were presented, including a presentation on “Direction of Energy Policy” by National Energy Council Member As Natio Lasman and a presentation on “Cascading Working Group Work Program 2025-2029 and Presentation of Working Group Results” by the Working Group.
