The event commenced with a report from the Organizing Committee Chair, Roy Candra Primarsa, Acting Head of BAPETEN’s Bureau of Planning, Information, and Finance (BPIK), who stated, "This working meeting is a pivotal moment; it is intended to be more than just an annual routine. We aim to use it as a starting point to align our steps and unify our vision for the successful implementation of 2025 programs. This marks our first year implementing the BAPETEN Strategic Plan for 2025–2029, as stipulated in BAPETEN Head Regulation Number 3 of 2025 on the Strategic Plan of the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) for 2025–2029."

The working meeting was officially opened by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin. In his opening remarks, he stated, "We have instructed every work unit to formulate its own strategic plan in accordance with the mandate of BAPETEN Head Regulation Number 3 of 2025; therefore, let us collaborate to complete this task." “The development of BAPETEN’s SPBE (Electronic-Based Government System) performance, which we will henceforth refer to as ‘Digital Government,' must be continuously developed and refined to ensure the effectiveness of the government information systems within the agency,” he explained.

“Regarding the 2026 policy, following the adoption of the BAPETEN Strategic Plan (Renstra) for 2025-2029, we expect to align performance targets and data in the 2026 Work Plan (Renja) and Budget Implementation List (DIPA) documents with that Strategic Plan,” he clarified.

The two-day event proceeded with presentations and discussions. In the first session, the Bureau of Planning, Information, and Communication (BPIK) presented the review results of the Ministry/Agency Work Plan and Budget (RKAKL) for the 2026 Fiscal Year. This was followed by presentations from each Echelon I unit regarding performance achievements, projected budget realization, and strategic measures to accelerate priority programs through the end of 2025. An active discussion ensued, focusing on optimizing budget realization and aligning Key Performance Indicator (KPI/IKU) targets.

The afternoon session featured a presentation by the Ministry of Finance’s Directorate of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) regarding efforts to boost PNBP potential in the nuclear sector, as well as a presentation by Statistics Indonesia (BPS) on the methodology for formulating indices within the KPI manual. Both presentations offered valuable perspectives for strengthening BAPETEN’s performance planning and measurement systems.

In the evening, the Head of BAPETEN’s Internal Auditors presented the status of audit follow-ups and internal oversight achievements, followed by a discussion on the draft KPI manual for each work unit to serve as a guide for refining future performance evaluations.

On the second day, the working meeting continued with a motivational session delivered by Moh. Rosiman from Trustco delivered an inspiring message, encouraging all participants to continue innovating, upholding integrity, and working with a spirit of public service. Subsequently, a leadership dialogue was held between Echelon II officials and meeting participants, serving as an open forum to share input, discuss challenges, and identify collaborative solutions for the implementation of the current year's programs.

To conclude the event, the Acting Head of BPIK presented a summary of the outcomes from the BAPETEN’s 2nd Working Meeting for 2025, outlining recommendations, follow-up actions, and the shared commitment to strengthening institutional governance. The event was officially closed by the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, who emphasized the importance of translating the meeting's outcomes into concrete actions across all work units to ensure continuity.
