Kembali 23 September 2025 | Berita BAPETEN | 8 lihatIn order to improve the quality of dynamic archival information services for the public, the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN), acting as a node of the National Archival Information Network (JIKN), organized a Technical Guidance session on providing archival information for the National Archival Information System (SIKN) and the National Archival Information Network (JIKN). The event featured a resource person from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) and was held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the BAPETEN Building B Auditorium.
The event was opened by the Head of the Protocol and General Affairs Section, Kuspriyanto. He conveyed a message from the Head of the Organization Development and General Services Bureau stating that, to enhance the quality of JIKN archival information management, BAPETEN is conducting human resource development for SIKN/JIKN managers through activities such as internships, outreach sessions, technical guidance, and seminars organized by ANRI. It is expected that BAPETEN will be able to improve both the quality and quantity of archival information displayed on the JIKN platform in the future. This aims to provide knowledge and insights to the public, serving as a form of accountability for the government agency responsible for overseeing the use of nuclear energy for the benefit of the nation and the state.
The session continued with a presentation by Rinasari, Head of the General Affairs Subdivision for the Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment (PKN). She outlined key points regarding BAPETEN’s SIKN/JIKN management work plan, which includes completing BAPETEN’s archival information services to cover all of the agency's regulatory and supervisory functions; routinely inputting archival information into the SIKN (with a target for audiovisual archives next year); and periodically participating in the JIKN Virtual Archives Exhibition as well as the competition for the Best National Network Node (SJTN).
The subsequent presentation was delivered by Dionysius Susilo Pratomo, an archivist from ANRI. Several topics regarding SIKN and JIKN were presented:
- SIKN is a national-level archives information system managed by ANRI that utilizes the national archives information network infrastructure.
- JIKN is a national-level information network system and archival service facility managed by ANRI.
- SIKN serves to establish archives as the backbone of state administration management, ensure accountability in state administration management, guarantee that information is accessed only by authorized parties, and ensure the availability of archives as the nation's collective memory.
- JIKN serves to enhance public access to and the quality of archival services, the utility of archives for the people's welfare, and public participation in the archival sector.
The event concluded with a group photo, the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the speakers, and the awarding of door prizes to lucky participants who actively asked questions. [BOU/Gayatri/BHKK/YL/Translator: GP]
