The event was opened by The Head Center of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive sources Regulatory Assessment (P2STPFRZR) represented by The Coordinator of Health Assessment Rusmanto, he said "this technical guidance is a routine activity conducted by BAPETEN, to ensure the active contribution of facility representatives can be done continuously so that we have local DRL and National DRL values. This is important because DRL is one of the proven optimization tools and has been agreed upon internationally”.

"Somethings that can affect the value of DRL include the aspects of procedures, modalities and human resources. This technical guidance is devoted to mammography modality and this year a National DRL will be established for examination of patients with CT Scan modalities and general radiography." added.

The event was moderated by Sudrajat, and followed by a presentation from P2STPFRZR staff on "Optimization of Medical Exposure through the application of DRL" by Endang Kunarsih, presentation on "Introduction and Use of Si-Intan Application for Mammography Modality" by Ida Bagus Gede Putra Pratama, and QnA session.

Technical guidance held on 5 March 2021, and followed by 20 participants representatives of Radiation Protection Officers (PPR)/medical physicists / radiographers from government and private hospitals located in Jakarta and surrounding areas that have mammography services.[P2STPFRZR/Hermansyah/BHKK/SP/RA/OR]
