Strengthening Competency Standards, BAPETEN Conducts a National Coordination Meeting on the Evaluation of Radiation Facility Personnel Licensing
Kembali 16 Desember 2025 | Berita BAPETEN | 123 lihatBAPETEN held a National Coordination Meeting on the Evaluation of the Implementation of Radiation Facility Personnel Licensing on 15–16 December 2025 in Bandung. The meeting was attended by relevant stakeholders and aimed to review the effectiveness of nuclear energy supervision during the 2025 fiscal year.
The event opened with remarks from the Acting Chairman of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin. In his remarks, Zainal emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of nuclear training institutions to improve nuclear safety and security in Indonesia. The meeting then continued with a coordination and evaluation process of the licensing process over the past year with the Radiation Facility Licensing Activity Manager, Ida Bagus Manuaba. The agenda included competency certification exams for Radiation Protection Officers (PPR), competency certification for Radioactive Material Security Officers (PKZR), and SIB validation for officers other than PPR. All of these activities were conducted to ensure that the quality of radiation officers in the field is maintained and in accordance with the competency standards regulated in BAPETEN Regulations No. 4 of 2024 and No. 5 of 2024. Furthermore, the event was continued by the Quality Assurance Function Group Activity Manager, Adi Dradjat Noerwasana, with material on the importance of aligning the training institution's curriculum with the latest regulations in order to maintain personnel quality. The entire series was enthusiastically welcomed by the participants. This was reflected in the interactive discussion between the participants and the speakers. The discussion addressed the challenges faced by training institutions and the development of a strategic plan for examination activities in 2026.
