The event was opened by Ishak, Director of DPFRZR. Ishak said that today's activity was a Public Consultation and Technical Guidance for Licensing for the Use of Integrated Ionizing Radiation Sources with the OSS-RBA System, in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and DPMPTSP of Cirebon City.

"Today's activity, apart from technical guidance on licensing, will also include time for public consultation so that participants can provide input or suggestions other than regarding licensing. We also invited resource persons from the Ministry of Investment/BKPM and DPMPTSP Cirebon City so that participants could directly consult if there were problems related to OSS-RBA. On this occasion, we also invited Directorate of Regulation of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Sources BAPETEN to explain the latest regulations that were just published a few weeks ago, namely Government Regulation No. 45 of 2023 concerning the Safety of Ionizing Radiation and the Safety of Radioactive Sources.” Ishak said.

"Hopefully participants can make the best use of this activity and use the opportunity for discussion and consultation optimally so that after participating in this activity they will no longer experience difficulties in applying for permits," added Ishak in his speech.

Furthermore, the presentation material from the resource person was delivered in a panel moderated by Mukhlisin, Coordinator of Licensing for Research and Industrial Facilities. The first presentation was delivered by Ishak on the Licensing System for the Use of Ionizing Radiation Sources in the Industrial Sector, and the second presentation on the Implementation of OSS-RBA Licensing in the Cirebon City Area was delivered by Sosroharsono, Head of the Cirebon City DPMPTSP. The third presentation on business licensing for the nuclear energy sector was by Wahyudi Romdhani, Investment Management Manager. Young Expert from the Directorate of Business Licensing Services in the Non-Industrial Sector, Ministry of Investment/BKPM, and presentation of the four Government Regulations No. 45 of 2023 concerning Safety of Ionizing Radiation and Safety of Radioactive Sources by Soegeng Rahardi, Plt. Director of DP2FRZR.

In the discussion session, there were 62 participants present, and they were very enthusiastic about asking questions of the resource persons. The event is also interspersed with quizzes for participants, whoever can answer the quiz the fastest will get a prize from BAPETEN in the form of merchandise or souvenirs, such as hats, key chains, and pens with the BAPETEN logo.

After ISHOMA (rest, prayer, meal), the event continued with direct licensing consultations between the participants and the BAPETEN DPFRZR Evaluator.

In this activity, a public service satisfaction and anti-corruption survey was also carried out in accordance with the mandate of the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation Number 8 of 2019 concerning Independent Assessment of the Implementation of Bureaucratic Reform (PMPRB).

The event was closed by Ishak, who appreciated the participants, who were very enthusiastic about taking part in this activity.
