Practicum for Radiation Protection and Safety Training for Interventional Radiology Batch III, at Siloam Hospitals Bogor

The challenges in the health sector are the increase in Ionizing radiation sources (SRP), technological developments and SRP safety standards that must be anticipated with regulatory updates, radiation safety permit requirements that cannot be met by health facilities.
For this reason, BAPETEN held a "Training on Protection and Safety of Radiation Radiology Intervention Batch III", which contained a briefing on Materials and Practicums, on Thursday, 1 September 2022, specifically for Practicum at Siloam Hospitals, Bogor, (01/09).
The event began with remarks from the Sub-Coordinator of the BAPETEN Implementation and Training Facilities Function Group, Umul Khair, who conveyed the importance of practicum that will be implemented in each work place and suited with existing regulations.
The remarks and presentation were continued by the Head of Medical Support of Siloam Hospitals-Bogor Risma Meutya who delivered a presentation on the "Company Profile of Siloam Hospital".
The training continued with the "Dose Measurement Practicum" delivered by the Coordinator of Health Assessment Function Group Rusmanto and BAPETEN Radiation Supervisor Ai Melani.
The training, which was held from 29 August to 2 September 2022, was attended by 12 participants consisting of anaesthesiologists, nurses, radiographers and other medical personnel. [BHKK/SP/OR/RA]
