The inspection team, chaired by Mukhlisin as Coordinator of Health Facilities Licensing, carried out verification in two stages, the first stage conducted online on 21–22 January 2021, to check administrative document requirements. The second stage of verification is carried out onsite against the technical requirements at the RSUP. Persahabatan on 27-29 January 2021.

Onsite verification activities are carried out by implementing health protocols strictly. The inspection team also conducted rapid antigen tests before and after the activity, and used standard personal protective equipment for handling Covid-19 while in the field to avoid outbreaks.

The scope of the inspection consists of technical inspections, such as design plans, measurement of exposure to gamma and neutron radiation, mechanical system tests, safety system tests, commissioning tests, dosimetry system measurements, and performance simulations.

From the results of the verification activities carried out by the BAPETEN inspection team on the permit requirements, RSUP. Persahabatan has not been able to fulfil the requirements for issuing permits. There are things that must be repaired and re-fulfilled, including the fulfilment of personnel requirements, supporting equipment, procedures, technical documents and records.
