The BAPETEN team consisted of Acting Chairman of BAPETEN Zainal Arifin, Director of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN) Yudi Pramono, Head of the Bureau of Legal Affairs, Cooperation, and Public Communication (BHKK) Ishak, Director of Regulation of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DP2FRZR) Mukhlisin, and Head of the Bureau of Organization and General Affairs (BOU) Indra Gunawan.

Opening the meeting, Zainal Arifin delivered welcoming remarks to the representatives of the KKP, including the Head of BPPMHK KKP, Ishartini, accompanied by the Head of the Post Harvest Quality Center Widya Rusyanto, Head of the Primary Production Quality Center Ari Prabowo and Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Working Team, M. Aji Purbayu. Zainal further discussed recent developments and concerns regarding marine and fisheries products that were previously indicated to contain radioactive substances.

The activity continued with a detailed discussion of the Cooperation Agreement document between BPPMHK KKP and the Deputy for Licensing and Inspection of BAPETEN concerning the Implementation of Control and Supervision of Quality Assurance of Marine and Fisheries Products against Radioactive Contamination.

In general, this cooperation agreement covers control and supervision, scanning and testing for radioactive contamination in marine and fisheries products, data and information exchange, enhancement of human resource competency, infrastructure and expertise support, as well as other activities relevant to strengthening the synergy of resources between the parties for the implementation of control and supervision of quality assurance of marine and fisheries products against radioactive contamination.
