The workshop was also attended by Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin, Head of the Education and Training Division Ahmad Ciptadi Syuryavin, and two experts from GE HealthCare Sweden, namely Uno Zetterberg as Global Product Director of Radiopharmacy and Girish R. as Regional Product Manager of Radiopharmacy.

The event was opened by remarks from BAPETEN Deputy for Licensing and Inspection Zainal Arifin, who said, “Through this workshop, we want to encourage discussion and share experiences and strengthen cooperation between BAPETEN, BRIN, and BPOM. Our participation is essential to ensure that facilities operate safely and support the advancement of nuclear medicine for public health.”

“I hope all participants will actively discuss, share insights, and take advantage of this opportunity to deepen their technical and regulatory understanding. Together, we can strengthen national capacity and adapt to global safety and quality standards,” added Zainal.

The activity was continued with several presentations from the Activity Manager of the Directorate of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Substances Licensing (DPFRZR) BAPETEN, namely "Radiation of Radioisotope and Radiopharmaceutical in Indonesia," "International Regulations and Standards—Global Standards Applied in Cyclotron Operations by Experience on Design, Safety, Quality, and Operation" from Uno Zetterberg, and "Overview of Cyclotron Facilities (Self-Shielded and Non-Self-Shielded)" from Girish R.
