Previously he had been treated at the hospital because of the pain he suffered, then had time to go home because it had improved and finally re-entered the hospital because of his low HB. Had received donors from some of his co-workers in Bapeten and several other colleagues, but his life was not helped and passed away this morning at 42 years leaving behind a wife and 2 children.

There were mourners present at the funeral home of fellow deceased from Bapeten including, Deputy Chairman for Nuclear Safety Assessment Dahlia C Sinaga, Director of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Sources Regulation Djoko Hari Nugroho, Head of Center of Nuclear Installation and Materials Regulatory Assessment Judi Pramono and Director of Nuclear Installation and Materials Regulation Haendra Subekti. Haendra expressed his deep sorrow at the loss of a disciplined, diligent and responsible co-worker in carrying out the task.

"On behalf of Bapeten's extended family we express our deepest condolences to the family. He can work well together, he is fun, has fresh ideas, and brings a liquid atmosphere to friends, because he does like to joke and likes to say hello to others, and always brings joy." he said

"Once again we offer our deepest condolences for the passing of our colleagues, our brothers, friends and even some who consider as teachers by some of his friends, because Widi is a trusted leader, and also for his colleagues who have worked together in a team, especially in the preparation of regulations" haendra said.

Conveyed by Haendra that from other ministries also expressed condolences and felt lost with his distinctive style from Widi who is tenacious and persistent in maintaining opinions, but that is what characterizes. May Allah SWT accept the good deeds of him and the end of his life Husnul Khotimah.

At the end Haendra hoped that the family left behind, would always be patient, steadfast, tawakal and sincere because it has become the will of Allah SWT, and we believe that God loves him very much.

After the funeral home, he was taken to Bahrul Ulum Puspitek mosque for praying and then continued to be taken to the final resting place, sari Mulya Serpong public cemetery.

One of his co-workers, Anggoro said “in Bapeten he was an exciting discussion partner, even called a fighting partner in the boardroom. But once the meeting was over, we became coffee buddies again. That's the sign of the professional, do not mix work and personal affairs”.
