Launching of the Independent Reporting System for Test Results Reports and Conformity Test Certificates by Conformity Testing Institutions

As mandated by BAPETEN Regulation No. 2 of 2018 on Conformity Testing of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology X-Ray Machines to Conformity Testing Institutions (LUK) to issue conformity test certificates independently, the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) made the inauguration of an independent certificate issuance system for Conformity Testing Institutions that already have experts in Jakarta on Monday, September 30, 2024, in a hybrid manner.
Participants in the launch and trial consisted of leaders and representatives from Conformity Testing Institutions, who would later be able to disseminate information and conduct trials with accounts owned by the LUK. This activity was attended by 46 conformity testing institutions, six of which were LUKs that were invited offline, namely Health Equipment and Facility Security Center (BPFK) Surabaya, BPFK Jakarta, BPFK Medan, BPFK Makassar, Health Facility Security Center (LPFK) Surakarta, and LPFK Banjarbaru. While the other 40 LUKs were invited online.
The event was opened with an activity report by the Directorate of Technical Support and Nuclear Emergency Preparedness (DKKN) BAPETEN Zulkarnain, who said, "Today's activity aims to provide information related to the implementation policy and process flow of LHU reporting and conformity test certificates through Balis Perzinan 2.5 and also as a means to obtain feedback from business actors and non-business actors on various obstacles so that they can be considered in improving the quality of laws and regulations and the implementation of licensing and supervision of nuclear energy."
Continued with remarks from the Deputy Chairman for Licensing and Inspection of BAPETEN, Zainal Arifin, who said, "Balis Perizinan 2.5 LHU Reporting Module and Independent Conformity Test Certificate is an intermediate solution before the completion of Balis Sukses 2.0. This reporting module is to make it easier for the Conformity Testing Institution to provide reporting and also make it easier for BAPETEN to carry out supervision."
This event presented the Mechanism for Issuing Independent Conformity Test Certificates by LUK, delivered by Rini Suryanti as the Coordinator of KFJM Activities, then followed with the presentation of the LHU Reporting System and Independent Conformity Test Certificates Through Balis Perizinan 2.5 by Deddy Rusdiana, Head of the Balis Development Working Group. In addition to the launch, a system trial was also conducted for LUKs that can already issue certificates independently. This event is expected to be a means of communication between users, in this case the Conformity Testing Institution and the Supervisory Agency, to build better applications.
