BAPETEN through its Education and Training Division (Balai Diklat), conducted an ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audit carried out by PT TÜV Nord Indonesia on 28 November 2025 at the BAPETEN Office. The audit was conducted as part of the ISO 9001:2015 recertification process and to maintain the quality of the Education and Training Center’s management system. In his opening remarks, the Head of Education and Training Division, Ahmad Ciptadi Syuryavin, stated that the audit represents an effort to ensure that all activities of the Education and Training Center remain certified in accordance with international standards.

During the audit, Anita Masduki served as the lead auditor, while the auditees comprised the Head of Education and Training Divison along with all staff members of the Center. Anita explained that BAPETEN’s Education and Training Division has held ISO 9001:2015 certification for several years. In 2025, an updated ISO 9001:2015 certificate will be issued. Starting in 2026, the ISO 9001:2026 standard will be introduced; however, a transition period will apply, during which ISO 9001:2015 may still be used for the next three years. By 2029, full implementation of ISO 9001:2026 will be required.

The audit was conducted as a compliance (conformity) audit, aimed at assessing conformity with regulatory requirements and customer requirements rather than identifying nonconformities. Anita explained that the audit covered various aspects, including process documentation, compliance with the quality policy, operational efficiency, and the organization’s commitment to continual improvement. The audit scope was aligned with the certification scope and involved the Management Representative, the Head of the General Affairs Subdivision, and all working groups.

At the closing meeting, the audit results were presented, indicating that the Education and Training Division continues to fully meet all ISO 9001:2015 requirements. No major or minor nonconformities were identified, demonstrating that the center has consistently implemented the Quality Management System (SMM) in accordance with the established standard. Anita also expressed her appreciation for the various initiatives and innovations that have been implemented. As a result, BAPETEN’s Education and Training Division has successfully maintained its ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The activity was officially closed by Ahmad Ciptadi Syuryavin, who stated that the audit results reflect the Center’s strong commitment to providing high quality services. He expressed the hope that in the future, the Education and Training Division will be able to obtain the latest quality certification, ISO 9001:2026. [BDL/Eka/Ai/BHKK/GP/HRUF]
