Implementation of Supervision of Business Licensing for the Nuclear Sector Through Inspection of PT. Enseval Medika Prima and PT. ICT Worldwide Indonesia

BAPETEN's Directorate of Inspection of Radiation Facilities and Radioactive Materials (DIFRZR) conducted inspections of business actors in the nuclear sector, namely PT. Enseval Medika Prima and PT. ICT Worldwide Indonesia on September 13 - 16, 2022. Both companies are permit holders for nuclear energy utilization in the import sector and transfer of Ionizing Radiation Generators.
Apart from being the main task of BAPETEN, this inspection is carried out to oversee risk-based business licensing according to the mandate of the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) in BKPM Regulation (Perba) No. 5/2021.
In this activity, conformity of documents such as licensing documents, personnel data, monitoring of doses and health of personnel, availability of radiation protection equipment as well as documents and records is carried out. Specifically for the import and transfer sector, the Inspection inspected of the legal entity's PRP storage warehouse.
Then the Inspection Summary (BAP) is signed by both parties (Inspection Team and Users) and contains a commitment from the user to follow up on the findings that have been identified during the inspection. At the end of the event, users are given a sticker stating the compliance conditions for nuclear energy utilization. (DIFRZR/Samsiatun/BHKK/Da/RA)
